Whenever possible Creekside Restaurant uses locally grown ingredients from Montrose and the surrounding area. You will know that whatever you have if we can find it locally you will have it on your plate. We believe in serving the freshest meal you can find in Montrose and the surrounding area.

If you have not been in Creekside recently you have missed our total renovation. We have created a look that blends modern with a classic in a comfortable, relaxing environment. Our inviting space is a great place to enjoy anything from beer and pizza to a fine entrée with an exceptional wine.

Chef Chris

A native of Puerto Rico, Chef Chris had a passion for cooking as a young man learning from his father. After working at several restaurants in Puerto Rico, he moved to Florida where he graduated from Johnson & Whales with a degree in Culinary Arts. He has spent the past 20 plus years working between Florida, Vail, Beaver Creek and a private ranch in De Beque, Colorado. During this time he has honed his skills, which you will soon discover at Creekside. Most recently Chef Chris was the Chef de Partie at the Sebastian Hotel in Vail. We are honored that he has joined the team at Cobble Creek to help re-open Creekside Restaurant, an Italian themed-Colorado Fresh restaurant located on the south end of Montrose.

 

Justin Thompson

With 20 plus years in the food and beverage industry, Justin spent the past 7+ years understanding the intricacies of restaurant operations. After he earned a B.S. in Business Management from Metropolitan State University, Justin spent the early part of his career studying wine and working in progressive management roles at various Denver restaurants. Soon after, Justin moved with his family to Vail where he went from running standalone restaurants to the hotel industry with Vail Resorts.  Most recently he was with The Sebastian Hotel in Vail, where he was the Food and Beverage Director overseeing several F&B outlets, including banquets.
